For schools

Homework goes home. We’re for whoever it lands on.

You set the work. We help the adult at the other end of it explain it without doing it for them.

Homework Hero runs on WhatsApp. A parent sends us the question they’re stuck on and gets back a coaching card — what to say, what to ask, and hints to hand over one at a time. It will not give a learner a finished answer, and that refusal is enforced, not a policy on a page.

What that looks like in your classroom is narrow but real: the work comes back attempted, the working is the kid’s own, and the parent has some idea what the method is called and why it doesn’t look like the one they were taught.

What we do

  • Coach the parent through one question at a time
  • Stick to CAPS, Grades 4-9, every subject
  • Draw a diagram when it helps, left blank to fill in
  • Say so on the card when we’re not certain

What we don’t

  • Mark work or grade anything
  • Report on individual learners, ever
  • Ask for a surname, a school, or a date of birth
  • Give a learner an answer, however they ask

Working with a school

  • One grade, one term. Parents opt in themselves.
  • Nothing for you to administer — we don’t need your learner data.
  • A short written report at the end on what parents actually got stuck on. Topics in aggregate, never individual kids.
  • Tell us plainly if it isn’t helping and we’ll stop.

Talk to us

Message us and say which grade you have in mind. You’ll get a person, not a sales sequence.
